A Bug’s Life: Any of Pixar’s magnificent animated films could have made this list, from the wonders of Cars, to the awe-inspiring Wall-E. However, A Bug’s Life is special for bringing small details to life that in previous home video versions were unidentifiable.

Watch as Flick journeys into Bug City, now filled with minute details, clever products, and additional reasons to watch the film more than once. This is a flawless presentation of one of the best Pixar efforts, and follows up an astounding visual display with powerful, crisp audio that immerses you further into the ant kingdom.

Disney also did the right thing in transporting all extras from the two-disc DVD over to Blu-ray, some remastered in HD, and including new content to bring the Blu-ray up to date. If there is a Blu-ray currently on the market that shows off every possibility for the format’s future, A Bug’s Life is it.
